Hi all, there is a discussion in "Any interest in an OCF Portrait Meetup", your questions may be answered there. Thanks for bearing with me in that discussion.

For more understanding:
This is a group meet where we are all coming together to learn from each other. There will not be a teacher. We are mainly focusing on simple one-two light set-ups. In the end you may chose to bring in more, but in the beginning let's focus on one light. The first part we will be working with each other as "models" Some may be willing to share these images with each other for personal headshots - I have no problem sharing as I want one of myself too.

I dedicated a time for models, but it is still up in the air if others want to work with them. Please say so, these are who you'll want to put on your website. If no other interest in models, we can end early or keep working with each other. I still will need to find some (one lined up so far) once I know who's using them.

In the end we will set-up some kind of sharing critique system, so we can ultimately learn from each other.

Read This:
When sigining up please list your name, flash level, which segments will you attend (1:00-3:00, 3:00-4:30, or both), if you are wanting to work with models, share images(headshots of others), and your website.

i.e. Marguerite(mtyler24), beginner/intermediate, both segments, yes to working with models, yes will share images, my site

Remember this is not the right set-up for everyone, you may or may not get much out of it. And as I said in the other post, try to read up on it beforehand so you have a basic understanding. The Strobist is a great site. I also capped it off at 14 to keep it smaller, I'd like it a little smaller than that, but counting on no-shows too.

Sam - you and Conor can continue working together since you're not really interested in using the models.

Shelly - in the mean time check out the strobist website and just play around with learning the settings, that way you can make the most of learning with others.

Greg - I saw in the other post you'll be watching right? I went ahead and added another spot for you.

I'll try to start finding some models since others are interested, if anyone knows anybody that would be interested (dosn't have to be a model) pm me.
