Need Photographer to cover Sugar Land XMas Tree Lighting 12-3-09 - 11-30-2009, 01:01 PM

Hi TPF ... I was scheduled to do this, but no longer can because of last minute surprise craziness that has popped up for me. I'm looking to contract this out, so you would be dealing with me. Here are the details...

Date: Thursday, December 3rd, 2009
Time: 5pm-8pm (this is the coverage time, so actual time having to be there would be more like 4:30/4:45pm-8:15/8:30pm)
Event: City of Sugar Land Christmas Tree Lighting
Location: Sugar Land Town Square
Pay: $300 for finished product (finished product = edited images on disc)
Important Note: turnaround time on pictures is quick. need to have disc of images to me by Sunday or Monday at the latest.
What is needed: shooting/coverage is light duty ... need to have images from each performance/happening of the program (on city hall steps/stage), some candid crowd shots, shots of some of the decorations, shots of side booths and any roaming performers/entertainers, key/critical/must-have shots are santa's big entrance, and the mayor and santa turning on the xmas tree lights, and then after the tree is lit, images of the tree and the overall town square (it will be dark! so you must have a tripod and a flash and experience working with that equipment!)

I know some of you may not agree with the pay. Three things: 1) it's what I would have gotten paid for doing it, 2) trust me when I say it's light duty shooting (I've done it for the past 2 years), and 3) no need for extensive or custom editing, just need the color to be decent, and for the images to be bright and clear. If you still don't agree with the pay, that's fine, but it is what it is, and the point of this thread is for me to find someone who is willing and able to do this for me.

Please PM me with your contact info if you are interested and available and have at least a little experience. Would love to see a link to your website or portfolio. Thank you in advance.

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who replied. I'm pretty sure I found someone. Waiting on a response. Will post again when the position has been filled for certain.
