Governor Ross Sterling Summer Mansion

Can anyone give a little info on the Governor Ross Sterling Mansion at Morgan's Point in La Porte?
I've done some looking around on Google and not found very much about it other than it was the former Governors summer home and that its design was based on the White House. I can't find any info on who owns it now. Is it privately owned, owned by the city, owned by the State, WHO?
It would be a great place to shoot in and around. ANYONE have any info? ANYONE? ANYONE?

Well, type in "Bayridge" as the road here: HCAD Real Property Records
And you'll see a list of the property owners on that street (77571 is the correct zip for that area).

If you find out the actual street address, you can pick it out from the list.

Well, it's 515. According to the county ( Harris County Appraisal District )
It is privately owned (and receiving the homestead exemption)
