Help Create New Concept for a Good Cause

For the last 8 years I've been pretty active with the Multiple Sclerosis Society here in Houston, trying to promote their MS150 Bike Ride that takes place every year. We've also been helping put together training rides that generate funds for the MS Society.

There’s a new training ride for next year and I’ve been asked to develop a new ad concept for the combined sponsors, the Multiple Sclerosis Society MS150 and the Texas Medical Center Orchestra.

The end result will be a family weekend event culminating in a 100 mile bike ride.

My involvement is to develop the concept by way of photographs which will be used in the promotion of the event.

We begin by photographing the renowned TMCO conductor, Maestra Libi Lebel. This will happen in the next couple of weeks, in Houston.

I am looking for someone with some experience in this area. Our remuneration will be the satisfaction of knowing that we’ve helped a worthy cause like someone suffering from Multiple Sclerosis.

Let me be more specific on what we want to do.
Every product/event/service needs an identity.
If you take a look at the below webpage of the Texas Medical Center Orchestra, Maestra Libi Lebel is shown conducting the Texas Medical Center Orchestra. That image tells the story of what it's all about and is used over and over on their webpage, mail-outs and letterheads, for anything having to do with the TMCO.

What I want to do is create an identify Logo that will be used for a bike ride in April of 2011. The ride is sanctioned by the Multiple Sclerosis Society (MS150) and all funds generated by the ride will benefit the MS Society and the TMCO (both non-profit organizations).

The help needed is to create that image logo. It will be used over and over on all materials and webpages that will be created for this specific event.
Once we have the concept of what we want to accomplish photographically, I will set an
appointment with Maestra Libi Lebel or anyone else we may need to create the image we want.

So, what we'll need to do is brainstorm ideas and then follow through to final product.
I think it will be a fun, challenging and rewarding project.

Duc, Yes. But before the event can be photographed we need to plan what it is we want the images to look like. This event will be staged, the way we want the ad to look like.

Let me do this - let me get together with the steering committee and hammer out what it is they want as an image(s). I'll use them to brainstorm ideas and then get back to you and the others who are willing to help.
