Studio NIGHT - 05-25-2010, 02:22 PM

Hello Everyone. I just had an Epiphany and would like to share it. I would like to host a Studio Night at one of my homes. I am going to set up a home studio with extra equipment I have and host if anyone is interested in coming out and messing around in a control studio environment. I will let you know what day is best for all.

If you want to just let me know. It will be in the Cypress area between Fry and Barker off of 529.

I simply Enjoy all aspect of Photography and learning along with teaching is a great passion of mine. I have been too busy these past couple of years to really enjoy it like I use to. I need to get back into the swing of things again. I hope to meet some of you soon.

Thanks for your time and for reading this post.

Keith

I'd love to take part, and I can find reliable models on Model Mayhem if that would help.

Hi Richard. I have often thought of opening a studio and sharing space with others just to have fun so I am open for suggestions on this "Studio Night" I have a place to use and figured it would be fun to invite others to use it also. Maybe this can be once a month or even more often if it turns out fun. Just remember it is a HOUSE not a commercial facility. :)

you fixed the date, and no you arent suppose to put the tags in, the little bold button does that, but for some reason the "open bracket" got deleted.

where is says b] your text [/b] you need to put the "[" in front of the first b so it looks like "[ b]your text[/b]"

I see. Thank you. Ok down to business. I picked that day simply as a day but I am very open for suggestions. I simply wish to host and meet others of the like minded. I don't smoke so if you do it will be outside. Like most photographers I enjoy playing around in photoshop to so this go round we can keep it simple and if one model is brough in that can keep some busy while others talk if they want.

Rab3rd,
Thanks for the help with the format.

I might enjoy this (put me down) - how many shooting setups would you have? What lighting setup would you show?

Philosopher asked how many setups there will be and what we will be shooting with. I am wanting to keep this simple I guess for this go round so One setting. I am a colorful person so it may be a starburst with dominant orange tone or we can roll with a traditional Black setting for fun. I am open for suggestions but want to keep this go round simple. As for lighting I figured my two table lamps with the shades removed should be quite the challenge to control lighting via your camera skills. LOL. :) I have some portable flashes that we can set up and use radio control to shoot with or I can set up HEAT lamps oh i mean constant light.
I am open for your thoughts and really want to insure the experience is fun for all. This is a low stress setting.

:)
