is it a photoshop combination of a photo of cracked paint combined with the girl's photo, just messing with layers?

it is a photo shop effect and takes like 3 minutes to do depending on the detail of the cracked image. Two layers on this images above but others have more layers. I was fasinated with it when i saw one better than the one I posted and spend a few hours messing around until it dawned on me how to do it. LOL i felt so stupid when I realized how to do it. I will post a play by play when i get the chance.

I think I remember doing this a few years ago...I put a sign on the side of a building and made it look old. Like most things in PS, I've forgotten more than I remember.

I think it is pretty cool. Only thing I don't like about it... your model looks really pretty and I would like to see her not peeling

LOL. this comment will be a TAD bit off subject. OMG I went out for my nightly bike ride and as wide as the road is and as thin as my tire is I can not believe that a small piece of metal stuck right in the middle of my tire. So my bike ride became a brick walk as the fast aproaching almost black cloud crept up behind me. LOL

I think you can achieve this with either certain "filters" in photoshop, or some of the plugins from OnOne.

Ok I have no idea of any filter that does this so if you have a detail on one I would jump on getting it really fast.
