Korean Festival Houston @ Discovery Green Oct. 23rd!

We (KASH, Korean American Society of Houston KASH - Korean American Society of Houston) are sponsoring our 2nd annual Korean festival at Discovery Green on October 23rd. I will be in class and most likely not be present that day. It will be open and free to the public (families/friends/anyone). If anybody is willing to shoot for free (its a cultural event with food, dances events) and give our organization some of the photos, it would be really appreciated. You are more than welcome to watermark/copyright your images, as we will use some of them for our website. The details are nearly being finalized so if you would like to help out please PM me, so i can forward the details.

Some of the photos from last year will be used in mass media (TV/Print/Other) for this year!

i'm planning on going. we have some friends we have invited as well. my korean mother (adopted and raised in the states) is coming to visit us here in houston, so depending on the time of their arrival, she may come as well. we're super excited!!

John, I'm sorry I didn't get any. As I approached the stage area to set up to shoot, they told us all to move back to the grassy area as the area in front of the stage had to be kept open. I was so far back that I'd have needed at least a 400mm to get anything decent.

No worries! Next year I will probably in charge again and i'll setup press passes for our photogs who help us out. Regardless, thanks a bunch for coming out.. I hope you enjoyed the festival.

didn't get any pics, but i enjoyed the festival. we like to separate fun and shooting. the wife may have a couple with the p&s, but nothing special.

thanks for letting us know about it. it was great fun and we enjoyed. excellent turnout as well.
