I was thinking of bringing my point-n-shoot to maybe take pictures of setups or get a shot with Joe or David. As far as I know its not hands-on where we'd get to shoot off their setups.

Maybe I'll bring the NEX. I have my Flipside packed with my A900 + 24-70, a flash and my NEX. May just bring my shoulder bag and NEX.

In this review , it looks like Joe does a paparazzi type of shot triggering a bunch of Speedlights (toward the bottom). Assuming those are mostly people who brought their cameras and flashes that he had setup as slaves.

Not really worth dragging the DSLR in though, IMO.
