Talk to the owners of the Rainbow Lodge (on Birdsall just off of Memorial Dr): http://www.rainbow-lodge.com/. The grounds there are beautiful, gazebo, etc.

try Bayou Bend - 01-10-2005, 02:49 AM

Bayou Bend comes to my mind. Nice park and landscaping there. It's off memorial drive, on the edge of memorial park.

went to the wedding extravaganza this weekend at the GRB convention center and visited a lot of photog booths.

a lot of them shot in downtown with the couple holding hands walkding down the sidewalk. the urban setting in some of the photos turned out real nice, esp if youre going for a more informal natural look.
