Hey Everyone,

Here is an event from the guys at MSO Race group. They are doing a timed Rally. I will post up the information here: This is a copy from the Facebook Page.

I am doing still photography and video for the event.

Thought I would share. It's volunteer, but if you would like to shoot let me know. Could be fun.

It's also a Benefit to the Noah's Kitchen Charity.

Online registration for road rally participants is encouraged due to limited number of slots. Register online by Wednesday, August 3, 2011.

TSD Road Rally Fee:
$15 per vehicle - Non University of Houston students and public
$12 per vehicle - University of Houston students, staff, and alumni

Road Rally Participant Schedule:
8:00am Registration opens at starting point (Amity Park).
8:30am Vehicle Inspection begins
9:00am Registration Closed
9:15am Driver’s Meeting (Navigators welcome)
9:30am Begin vehicle line-up
9:45am Rally directions to first leg will be given.
10:01am Car #1 starts rally
11:00am Car #30 starts; Car Meet

Conditions:
1. TSD Road Rally is limited to the first 30 vehicles.
2. Extremely lowered vehicles are highly encouraged not to enter the road rally.
3. Each vehicle must have only 2 people; driver and navigator.
4. All vehicles attending the road rally must be inspected by the rally committee.

Each team must have the following items.
1. Stop watch
2. Pen
3. Note pad
4. High lighter
5. Clip board or something sturdy to write on

Please remember, this rally is NOT A RACE! The object is to follow the route at specific speeds and arrive at each control point (check point) neither early nor late by using a set of given directions.

Last rally we were involved in had each driver place their license in an envelope, seal it & the race official signed the seal. If the seal was broken before the end of the rally... you loose. Since ours was a small group, you also got to pay for the after race dinner.

Well, I know the guys are working on getting some low costing food and water.

And I don't think this Rally is requiring a dramatic thing of sealing your drivers license. That is interesting though ...
