I konw this is last minute, but I have a client in downtown Houston that has asked me to come take headshots of 7 executives in their firm on-site tomorrow. This was a last minute call and my two assistants I normally use are not available. I can handle this shooting assignment alone (even though it will be a strain unloading and setting everything up), but thought I might offer it to someone on the Forum who might like to see how an on-site, commercial session works.
The work requirements are simple. Help me unload my vehicle - lights, light stands, backdrop, backdrop stands, camera equipment, reflectors. Then help me set up the backdrop, lights and camera equipment at the client site. Once set up, I could use help keeping the client contact alerted as to when the next VP is needed for his/her headshot.
I would share as much knowledge as possible during the session for set-up, exposure, client interaction and processes without detracting from the headshot session. I will need to be downtown at 2:30 to unload and set up. The first session is at 3:00pm and we should be done by 4:45 at the latest.
This is an unpaid opportunity for anyone that wishes to participate. I thought someone might like to tag along for the opportunity to learn and get some hands-on experience setting up and working with a corporate client. I know I did my share of these and it helped me tremendously as I was learning the business of photography.
Email me (DO NOT MESSAGE ME ON THE FORUM, I WILL NOT GET IT!) at
todd@stpimages.com. I am also shooting Fashion Houston tonight for a corporate client, so if you send an email to me past 6:30pm tonight I will not be able to respond until after 11:00pm tonight. Thanks in advance for anyone who might like to help out.
