Hallo,
does anybody has any suggestions for urban/rural locations for a senior shooting in Sugar Land? I know in downtown there's plenty of those places, but I just want to avoid the long trip...Thanks! | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. are you shooting a male or female? I like oyster creek park, nice bridge, rocks, water, and, hills. The mall right there has a great sitting area out by sunglass hut and barnes and nobles with couches and wand some water etc..

Also try Memorial Park out on University, NE of 59. Two windmills, rocks, water features, etc. There is also a bike trail into the woods in case you want some woodland shots, and open fields with grass.

I've seen couples and groups being shot there several times.

There's the plaza area in SL Town Center. Steps of city hall, benches, trees, and the big fountain.
George Ranch park isn't that far from Sugar Land too.

I don't think they could hassle you on city hall grounds (public space), but I would expect issues if you set up equipment on the roof of a parking garage or something. You might call the management office.

George Ranch park isn't that far from Sugar Land too. | Unless your going with a kit lens or a point-n-shoot, George Ranch does charge extra for photography.

George ranch charges $200 if you come in with anything resembling professional equipment. However for your 200 bucks you get a golf cart and an escort (tourguide.) For some Bridal shots this may be worth it, but for general country pics I would run down the street to the small town of Thomas (Boone). Senior Pics for a boy that wears boots every now and again could be easily shot at one of the High Schools Ag Barns. Kempner Field by Sugar Land Middle School is usually unlocked for stadium picks too. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
