I think the problem is that you sound like you need an 'assistant' (what would otherwise be a paying job) and you are asking for a tag along (free). No one wants to 'work' for free. If you clarified the "need" I think you would get a lot better response.

Tag Along = not a necessity (a want not a need)
Assistant = necessity
