Houston Arboretum & Nature Center - 03-26-2005, 04:28 PM

Thought I'd share a few images from the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center (located off Woodway in Memorial Park).

If you haven't taken the time to visit the Arboretum, I'd recommend it.

snakes & frogs - 03-31-2005, 01:46 PM

I took a picture of those same snakes and the same frog (atleast they all look the same) last week at the Arboretum while I was on Spring Break. I don't have them at work for me to post them.

I've seen several photographers there. Wonder if you were one of them. I go often during my lunch break to shoot birds. There are a lot of waxwings there now.

Well, yesterday was my first visit there and I didn't see any other photographers. In fact, until I was ready to leave, I only saw 2 other people.

Yikes! That's a mess of snakes. I saw a few others in the water, but only the one on the branch when I was there. Nice shot!
