Great photos Gonzo. What did you do to pump the green (or did you use a D2x, lol)?

I wish I could have joined y'all at 7 but we have a houseguest and I couldn't really make him get up at 6, so we went at 11am and we roasted...

In any case, here are a few that I got:

Imagine seeing the deer and the alligators in one shot. Snackalicious!

Looks like y'all had a neat time.

Nice shots guys. Haven't had a chance to do anything with mine except download them and take a really quick look, and probably won't get to convert/edit anytime soon since I'm getting trying to get stuff ready for vacation (leaving on Thurs!!).

Nick it was nice meeting you, good luck with talking the wife into the 200-400.

Jeff,
Good to meet you as well. We'll have to team up again some time....

I got zero pictures on my card when i used your 200-400 - I don't understand why. The "hard sell" (to wifey) remains...

Nick,

If you shoot sRGB the file naming convention may be different than my camera so the shots may not show up where you expected them in teh sort order. Might want to check again and see if you can find some shots with a leading underscore in the file name.

Yes, uncompressed NEF. In-camera setting is Mode II Adobe RGB though, so filenames woudl have a leading underscore.

The times I have been there I have seen deer along the park road inside the park, and also saw a group of six walk right by our campsite shortly before sunrise one morning. You don't usually have to hunt for the wildlife at BBSP. If you have some food around, just watch out for the crows and squirrels!

I saw the deer (those 2 and perhaps a dozen more in other places) between 7 & 730 AM. After more people started arriving, they seemed to melt into the bush
