Ballunar Fest 2006 Silhouettes - 08-25-2006, 08:32 PM

I noticed this event while driving through the Clear Lake area. I got a few shots before these two. I got these when I stopped at the traffic light on NASA Rd 1 and Space Center Blvd.

Just a tighter crop (for focused attention) and increased saturation (for "pop").

I don't mind at all. I love the first one. I want to head out there in about 30 minutes for the Allstate Balloon Launch. If I do, I'll be sure to post more shots as soon as I get back.

hi arielle, nice in-flight shots. I was there as well, and arrived just in time before the lift-off.

Wasn't the festival great? It was my first and I had a great time, even though I was the only one who came, my friends had to work :( . Either way, here are some of my shots (just 3 photos for now, Ive just glanced through all of what I took [500+], so havent had the time to pick my favorites). Will post my flickr or photobucket for my favorites soon.

by the way, hope you dont mind if I add some of my silhouettes, and some.

1-A great event with great silhouette opportunities. In-flight

4-Anyone saw that small streak rainbow? Into the the rainbow.
