Question HELP! Printing Locally - 12-19-2007, 10:26 AM

I have a family who I just took pictures of last week and they would like their prints made before Christmas. I normally use Bay Photo, but to make sure I get them in time, I thought maybe I should print locally. I've never done spraying and mounting of an enlargement locally. Any suggestions???

1. Does HCE do this?
2. Has anyone used 59 Photo (printing and studio) on Westheimer?
3. Has anyone used Lieber photography and retouching on Foley St.?
4. Any other suggestions?

I have used ASAP Photo in Sugarland and they are wonderful but just too far from me. I'm looking in the Northwest, Up-town, Southwest area of town. Let me know.

Thanks!

ASAP has a new location in the Richmond/Westheimer area... try giving Jenny a call and she can tell you where the new location is exactly... of course White House is FAST... 1-2 days www.whcc.com

You could use Mipx, the ship to you over night for only $10, and they usually have it out the day after your order it, if not the same day.

I have a caveat on White House. I am waiting since LAST THURSDAY for my prints. They are supposed to be here today. Mpix was super fast. Got the next day! My printer died last week and client wanted everything on Monday.

Look into Millers, Mpix is a division of them. They are great!

I have used Mpix before and I don't know why I said Bay Photo, the printer I use is actually ACI which can do an overnight print as well and they are fast as is (2 day), but I'm just not sure I'll have the file ready in time tonight I may have to send it tomorrow and then I'll really be pushing it. That is why I asked about a local place. It can always come in handy.

I will look up the new location for ASAP photo. Thanks!

I used to go to The Photo Lab, in Fiesta shopping center, I-10 and Blalock. Pretty good service.
You can also try AZ Photo Lab near I-10 and Sheperd.

The new location of ASAP is 3031 Crossview (713-785-4443) but the name on the store front is not ASAP, it's Album Innova. They're located near Fondren and Richmond.
