*Squeal* So cute Janet! Looks like a whippet. The GPA booth was right next to the booth that had crazy "necklaces" like these. I am looking through your whole album right now (about 1/3 through) and I think you did very well. I wish I had half as many shots as these. Love the retriever holding the donation bucket in his mouth :) What lens did you use for most of the shots of the dogs being show in the ring? *sigh* I need a 70-200 2.8 IS....

thanks guys - and suzy - i used my 200 2.8 - ajnd later switched over to 85/1.4 - but i didn't get many good ones with that lens...i had the shutter speeds set too slow.
i am used to shooting in aperature mode - but with the problems my camera has been having, i have to go manual for now - hopefully i'll get things mailed off on monday - and i'm doing a trampoline and tumbling national meet on sat/sun - i hope the camera behaves!
xposure - thanks for noticing the logo! - i've been noticing more and more photogs doing that sort of thing, and thought, well, why not? i have two pugs...so, just go for it..and it works with the number of digits in the year, so...

the dark side? do tell...haha
i've been thinking about switching over to nikon..but...i'm concerned over high iso noise...i guess i shouldn't be a ninny...
i'm getting some vertical banding on underexposed images - this is totally new... - the camera focus is wayy off - all images are very soft, regardless of what lens i'm using, and i do have some nice lenses... also exposure - it's not consistent at all - speaking with fuji - they did feel like the ccd was a heartbeat away from failing completely, so i'm just hoping to get through this weekends competition shoot.

that could be cool - i'm on a temp computer now - i'm really ticked at my repair shop...right after i bragged on how good they were...so i literally put a computer together this morning from old parts we had..and snuck the 2wire usb from one of my kids' computers so i at least have access...
i have to be at the event at 8am...but if you felt like dropping by - it will be at the george r brown - and i can pm you my cell number if you want to drop by. i'm supposed to have a press pass to be down on the floor - so you'll have to give me a holler if you make it.
