Huge Apartment Fire in Southwest Houston

An apartment complex not far from my house on W. Bellfort @ Pembridge had a huge fire this morning. Luckily, as I'm writing this, it appears to be under control.

Doesn't look to good for people in the complex...I hope people were able to get out of there! :o

Dang, this seems to be fire week. I hope no one was hurt.

Not too far from me, but I just woke up...if I would have been there I guess I would not have woken up on time :roll: :shock:

Actually it was 12:14...but for some reason the forum shows an hour behind...I think it is my comp not set correctly :oops: Sometime I wished I had a regular job :shock:

Apparently, this fire was started because an unsupervised child was playing around with a lighter.

yup and i heard the fire exstinguisher the father tried to use was empty... 18 units destroyed.
