Hi all. Thanks again for all your advice on where to live and still keep my sanity commuting to the Galleria. We move into a house in Missouri City (Sienna Plantation) on Thursday (03/27). I'm looking forward to meeting some of the TPF folks in the area.

Sienna Plantation is nice. The tollway straight in to BW8 helps. It's still growing out there... so keep in mind traffic is going to keep building from what you are currently seeing. Also, they just did a re-draw of the schools there. Actually have some families moving across the neighborhood just to stay in a particular HS... and they just purchased the land for another new HS that they will start on soon... All of that only matters if you are particular about kids going to one school or another.

By all means stay away from the downtown exchanges of 59 / 45 in the morning and afternoons... I've always found the east 610 loop area easy to manage... but it's been a couple of years since I've had to commute it regularly.

Fall Creek is nice from what I've seen driving around it... part of Humble ISD... and they are still trying to catch up on the residential growth out there. Depending upon where you live and how old the kids are... they may be going to "new" schools for the rest of their educational career.

I was out FM 1093 (end of Westpark Tollway past Fulshear) today and it looks like a good area... actually seems about the best place to find a little bit of "country" and still be able to jump on the tollway to get into town. LOTS of new development... don't know how long before the WP tollway bogs down. I think the trick out there though is to be near an on-ramp... and stay off highway 6.

Can't provide any other drastic earth shattering revelations... just observations to add to the list.

Edit note - I type slow apparently... didn't see you where you already moved into Sienna plantation... Let us know how it works out... and good luck getting settled in.

There's a TPF GTG Wednesday, 4/2, at Ragin Cajun on Hwy. 6 near 59 in Sugar Land. You should try to come by and meet some of us.
