Meetup: Sugarland GTG @ Ragin' Cajun Meetup #6 - July 9th - 06-13-2008, 08:27 AM

July 9th

Ragin Cajun Seafood
16100 Kensington Dr
Sugar Land TX 77479
Phone: 281.277.0704

Time: 6:00ish - Til everyone leaves.

Website: http://www.ragin-cajun.com
Full menu located HERE and HERE
Map located HERE

They have a wide variety of food which includes sandwiches, burgers & seafood. Plenty of room for us to spread out and visit. Diner style ordering so trying to get separate checks wont be an issue. The restaurant is split up into to portions, the main seating area restaurant style as well as a full service bar for those that want to get their drink on. This event has been added to the TPF calendar as a recurring event. If I can just figure out how to sync that with external calenders it would be cool. http://www.texasphotoforum.com/forum...y=2008-7-9&c=1

Sorry everyone, couldn't make it. I had an apartment fire to go to and didn't get home until after midnight!

A special thanks to Byron Willis for bringing Ruben D. Cruz to our meetup last night. Ruben is the Texas Tamron rep and one fantastic macro-photographer. Check out his website at: http://rubendariocruz.com

He brought out some lenses and everyone got hands on trials with an assortment of Tamron lenses. That 17-50/2.8 is one really sweet lens! Looking forward to seeing you again at some of our future meetups.

You'll probably have to ask Ruben (the Tamron rep) for the pics, as it was his 20d that was getting passed around with that 70-200 on it - for a while, at least.
