Portfolio Review? Nature, Macro, Natural light - 11-06-2008, 03:58 PM

Hopefully I have put this in the right section. I am in charge of the Northwest Houston Photo Clubs - Portfolio Challenge for 2009. I know I am starting this early, but I don't like to wait to the last minute on things.. I am looking for someone living in Houston or close by. Our challenge is held in Oct. More details would be given to the person closer to the actual challenge

I am looking for some new bodies... I am looking for someone that is more into Nature (landscapes, animals, flowers..ect)using natural light and Macro expertise.

This person needs to be able to explain to the person on what they did right or what they could of done to improve there photo's. They will need to know proper lighting, exposure, composition, color mgmt and proper printing.

If this is something that you might be interested in doing - Please email me a short Bio and a couple samples of your work or a link to your website.

Thank you for your time,
Debbie

Hi Debbie. I didn't know your club existed. I can see Jersey Villiage from my office. Tell me about your club & how I can be associated with it.

Thanks!

Hi Wayne
We meet twice a month the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7pm.
Here is a link to a map on there old website.
http://www.nwhpc.8k.com/location.htm

The first Tuesday is usually some program and the second one is competition night.
This next competition will be doubled up due to "IKE" we have 1 assigned category and 1 open category and everyonce in a while we have what we call OSB - outside the box - for those people that like to get a little out there with their photoshop skills.
Hopefully you can come out to our next meeting.

Debbie

Thanks Debbie. Marking my calendar.

Grinning. OSB sounds like fun. I don't have a box. I don't have Photoshop. Should be interesting.
