Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Camera Restrictions...NEED HELP ASAP - 03-19-2009, 03:25 PM

Just find out I got tickets for tonight. Is there any one that has been and had trouble or success taking gear in this year? I have looked all over the HLSR and Reliant websites and have not found much about restrictions.

Michael - this was posted up yesterday afternoon, ppl have brought their 70-200 lenses in.

As I stated in there, I thought I had read somewhere that lenses of 12" or more are not allowed, though I cannot find it for the life of me.

Took a gripped XSi and a 70-200 2.8L with me.
No problems other than it getting REAL heavy towards the end of the day (with a LowePro AW300 sling pack).
Need more lens though.
Another 200mm would suffice.
Outside I was using a 18-200.

I brought in a Canon 40D with a 10-22 attached, and my bag had a 100-400 and 28-75 in it (and a 1.4x TC). No problem.

Grrrr. only if Toyota Center allows SLRs too...

Anybody know how will I be able to shoot alongside the court? Do I have to be hired by some magazine/newspaper/website?
