I really like that sky in the first shot, but I am not too crazy about the trees and grass. I am sure it might be the nature of infrared or PP. Overall, wonderful shots.

Bruce, that first courthouse is a really beautiful building - which one is it? As a lawyer, this is a project I should consider taking up as well. I love these old courthouses in TX - so much nicer than the boring boxes they build today. I'll admit to being a purist, who enjoys the traditional IR b/w more than the colored trees. I'd love to see that first one with a different treatment.

That's the Ellis County Courthouse in Waxahachie. The courthouse in Wise County (Decatur) -- the fourth photo above is almost its twin since they were designed by the same architect. Both cities are easy day trips from Dallas. Go on a Sunday when there are not many cars parked around the square for better sight lines.
