I like them both but the 1st one is my fav... it has more depth than the second one because the middleground in the 2nd is slightly collapsed or cut off due to the tilt.

The very nice Nikon 18-200VR which works well for infrared -- not all lenses, especially zooms, do. Essentially, this versatile lens never comes off my IR-Converted Nikon D70 (720nm).

Another good IR lens is the 14-24 Nikkor...I miss that one...

I have never tried the 18-200 on my converted D70. I guess I'll have to give it a try. Best lens I've found for it so far has been the cheap old 18-55 kit lens.. I have an 18-200 so I'll try it out.
