I spent the past few days up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming on a photo tour of the Grand Teton National Park and it was AMAZING up there! About 50 degrees cooler than the 100 degree weather we’re having here in Houston. Lol. I took about 2,000 photos over the course of the 4 day trip so it will be a little work sifting through them and picking my favorites.
I did manage to check out my Infrared photos real quick to see which ones I liked so I figured I post one up here for you guys. This was taken at Schwabacher’s Landing and the view was absolutely breathtaking. This was definitely one of my favorite spots along the tour to shoot at.

Hi Abel,
Very nice. Man the light falloff in water in IR is so dramatic!

Very nice shot Abel! It was a great time indeed. I hope I can figure out my IR shots of that area! If not, I'll get some more when I go back... which I'm doing on September 23rd!

Here's one of my non-IR shots of Schwabacher's Landing... I was standing right next to Abel to ensure I got the best shot available ;).

Going with the tour. I'll have to wait until I'm not doing a tour to take Julie. It would be pretty boring for her to go and have nothing to do while we were out chasing wildlife and scenery. I'm looking forward to all the color that is supposed to explode near the middle or end of September... heck, the 50-degree temps are motivation enough!
I'm going to try to find a way to get a 400mm 2.8 this time... if at all possible.

That's a good question. I'm not sure but I think that is what Ida said. I HOPE that is the case. And damnit... I'm going to find that grizzly! Maybe I'll have to take some peanut butter with me!
