I take original IR photos in RAW, then use Bibble to convert to TIFF, while adjusting white balance, exposure, and contrast. Then the real fun begins: I open the TIFF files in Photoshop and start to "fiddle," ending up with a JPEG I'm pleased with. There's really no standard work flow or established way of processing an IR photograph.
Thanks for asking.
