IR w/Models - 02-12-2011, 03:56 PM

Hey guys I know I have not posted in a long time...have not been in the mood to edit...but I have finally gotten off my lazzy @ss and did some quick edits...

This is a shoot that I did with a couple other Photogs in Sept 2010....These are strait out of the camera with touch-ups on contrast, brightness, satuation, and warmth....

First three are shot with a Sony a200 converted to IR 720nm...the Last two are shot with a Sony a100 converted to IR 680nm...all using a sony 50 2.8 macro....

As always CC is welcome...I think I have finally gotten the hang of shooting people in IR...but let me know what you think...

Thanks in advance...

Beautiful IR work, Tony. Maybe, with these models you can stir up more interest in the IR section of TPF.

maybe....i'm trying to get some images, but i continually run into road blocks.

here's my latest...http://www.TexasPhotoForum.com/forum...ed-filter.html

once i find $70 worth of change in my couch, i'll be able to fire off my roll. should be interesting to say the least.

ps, i lurk in the IR forum, but have no clue what is going on....

Ron....ask questions...I know myself and Bill would be happy to answer any of them...I shoot converted camera's...so I don't have the filters...but you can play with IR with a quasi filter...using exposed film as a block...take a roll of old film and expose it and stick it over the front of the lens...and shoot...the images will be soft...but it blocks enough normal light to make it fun...

Good Luck...

I love em! I haven't used my IR camera in some time. I keep getting tied up in tasks that leave no bag space for it. I should get it out!

See there.... the second shot is proof positive that IR can shoot x-ray thru clothes and see underwear.......

Really nice shot, all of them, and I think I like the last one best.
