Cleaning an IR sensor/glass - 04-03-2011, 11:07 PM

I took 4 swabs and over an hour to get it nearly streak free. My A900 and NEX-5 took a few minutes each.

Keith...ya...I use my wife's sponge swabs for make-up when I clean the IR camera's...they don't leave streaks or cotton fibers....But I feel your pain my first cleaning took me about 3 hours...because I kept getting frustrated...!!

At first I thought I was just an idiot and was afraid to try the A900, but then I used the swabs on the NEX and the worked great. So now the NEX and A900 are spotless. I'll have to remember the sponge swabs.
