Lightbulb El Castile - Decatur, Texas - 04-30-2011, 11:05 PM

Critique: NC:

"The Castle" was built in 1883 by cattle baron Dan Waggoner and was once headquarters to the vast Waggoner ranching empire in North Texas. The house has 16 rooms with 8 wood-burning fireplaces. El Castile was the model for the home in the movie "Giant".

First, in regular IR:

Then, an inverted, colorized IR version:

Smile Thanks - 05-02-2011, 12:48 AM

Thanks for the kind comments on this; it's one of my favorite IR shots. Taken with a Canon PowerShot Pro1 full-spectrum converted camera with a 665nm IR-pass filter on front.
