IR Valentine's Day - 02-15-2006, 02:48 AM

All I have to say is it is great to have a girlfriend who will go with you to take skyline pictures on Valentine's Day and not complain...even though you are taking them from a cemetery. I set out to get some skyline shots and took my Sony F717 along...and glad I did. This is only my second attempt at IR, but I am pleased with the result. I used a Hoya R72 + ND4 + CP on the F717. Here they are:
(Note I went with the smaller pictures for the forum but they are all on my pbase here).

Also here is one of "The Man"

And as always critiques and comments are always welcome...and appreciated.

Howdy David,

Indeed you are a lucky man!!

Very nice shots, I also really like the pp. Nice composition on the Cemetery Gate with Downtown in the Back ground.

You owe your "Sweetie, a nice Dinner after a great day of shooting like this

Thanks for the replies, I had better not let her see this or she may get a big head...

Panther, if you like skyline in the background, you may like this one too.:

Howdy David,

Gotta love the 717 for IR's, very nice shot, that Cemetery has yielded some very nice shots, and a lot of history there.
