Horse Race in IR - 04-21-2006, 10:41 PM

I was at the race track today and had my D50ir with me, I took a few IR's of the races just for fun. Here's something you don't see everyday.

Nice one. I really enjoy the IR work where you have to search to find the chlorophyl (sp?) reflections.

I like it!

@Joe,

Actually, I had a pre-recorded WB off some grass in the camera. I should have taken anout WB reading, but the sun was really low (~7:40pm) and I figured I could always tweak it in capture.

Cool. I love how the sky and finish ball are still in color. I can't get my D100IR to do this for some reason...

One thing you might want to try next time is a Preset WB using the track dirt. I think you'll find that interesting...

Thumbs up Innovative - 04-22-2006, 02:21 PM

Innovative subject and an excellent capture. I don't think my 1/60s max shutter speed could have done this.
