Canoe Race in San Marcos

This Saturday began the Great Water Safari, a canoe race from San Marcos to the coast, 268 miles of Blanco River, rapids, dams, falls, and critters.

Hey Jules, cool shots. Sheryl and I joined a canoe trip at the Ft Worth Nature Center. Loads of fun, and a lot of good exercise.

I don't believe we could even think about doing 268 miles tho.....

Thanks Jer. I like canoeing very much also but this race? Nope. These folks finish this race exhausted, critter bit, hungry, and not real happy.
