Thunderstorms this afternoon kept me on the front porch. So I thought...
what the heck. Let's drag out the Canon 20D, the R72 filter, and tripod and try some IR.

Notice my token 3 tomato plant supports lower right! Yes I have a small garden in the city.

This has been on my mind for 1-1/2 years and finally found the gumption to give it a go.

So let me have your opinion...whatever that may be, good, bad or indifferent.

Both images:
f2.8, ISO 400, focal distance 38 (fixed Canon f2.8 - 24mm lens)
focus set on infinity in manual mode, self-timer used.

#1 was a 5 secsond exposure (color)
#2 was a 15 second exposure (b&w)

it really took quite awhile to get the detail on the house across the street. The Canon IR blocker seems to be pretty agressive.

Well Jerry like you said I've mastered another IR technique. Now I'll move on to
something else. Have a great weekend.
