I'd bet that the street will look at least as good this year as it did last. I'd also bet that your pictures of it will definitely be better, since you keep improving.

Yes, "Go Pirates." Growing up on the Ohio River in Portsmouth which is approximately half way between Pittsburgh and Cincinnati, we had two main baseball teams to root for: the Reds and the Pirates. Boy, back in the 1950's, those two teams played some blistering rivalries.

Nice IR Image Boogie!

Yeah, as Bruce said, the Reds were considered the 'Home Team' around Huntington in the 40's. The Reds and the Pirates used to draw a lot of radio talk!
Point of interest. I don't know about the Pirates Away games, But in those days the Red's 'Away' games were broadcast from Cincinnati by a local commentator, Wade Hoyt' reading text from a teletype. You could always tell the Away Games on the radio because there was no Stadium Fan Noise in the background. Only the sound of Wade Hoyt talking into the mike!

Bruce...you are too kind!

Thanks for the nice comment Paul.

The Priates made baseball history Monday night against Houston. It was the first
time since 1970 that we won the first game of the season.

We sure hope we have a winning team this year.
