Hello from Ponder, TX - 03-02-2010, 06:14 PM

Greetings all. I'm new to the forum and hope to learn as much as I can here. Some of my favorite types of photography are macro and nature. My husband and I shoot local horse schooling shows for folks who need pics taken. He uses a Sony A700 and A100 and I have a Nikon D90 that he just blessed me with. I usually use the A100. I'm having to learn a new camera, but that is okay. It's all part of the fun.

I browsed the macro area of the forum and I must day that Ken can keep his flies. I'll stick to other nature shots. I don't do "bugs" very well. Enjoyed looking at them, though!

As I am just learning, most of my work is in the auto mode, but I do venture into the program apperature and program priority occasionally.

Thanks for reading my into.

Edd, love the Seuissism at the end of your note.

Here's another for you!

Its night before its afternoon.
December is here before its June.
My goodness how the time has flewn.
How did it get so late so soon?”

Welcome to TPF - and my first thought when I saw your post was about sizzling steaks at the Ponder Steakhouse.

Glad to have you on board.
