I had introduced myself on here last year and had just begun my journey in photography as a hobby. Unfortunately, I had to undergo some major surgery (triple bypass) and it has been a long road to recovery. It was a major scare and hard to believe as I am only 38. I am almost 100% again.
I have been taking snapshots all of my life and decided I wanted to learn how to take beautiful photographs instead. I have been attending classes (whenever I can afford them), reading anything I can get my hands on, practicing and trying to develop my "style". I started with landscapes, animals, nature and abstracts. At first I was scared, timid about taking pictures of people - scared of what their reactions would be, and not very confident in my abilities. Now I have become a little more confident in myself and would like to learn more about portraiture.
I would relish an opportunity to work with an established photographer as an assistant/second shooter for any type of portraiture work, weddings, or any other type of event. I would be willing to work cheap (free) to gain experience, build a portfolio, and to make sure this is something I really want to pursue.
Hello again,
Bill |
