Temple Intro - 05-05-2010, 03:27 AM

Hi folks,

I've been strolling around here for a couple of weeks now and thought it was time to introduce myself since I've already made a few comment posts (Hope I didn't offend anyone since I don't shoot photography for a living).

Name's Bob and I live in Temple (although I am a current resident of the great waterless beach across the pond). I've been shooting for many decades but have decided it's time to learn how to do it right (stop using a powerful camera as a p&s). Long story short, I was wandering the web looking for Texas photo stuff (since I'm going through withdrawals not being able to shoot over here) and found this sight. Thought it would be a nice way to get to know some local photogs. Well, that's about it. Just looking forward to getting back on that side of the pond so I can start shooting again and learning how to do it right. Thanks.

Welcome to the area. When you get back, you look at Miller Springs. It has a lot to offer.
