I'm never very good at introduction posts; they always start off kind of awkward ;) I'm Jen. I've lived in Austin, TX almost 13 years now, and while I've been interested in photography in a long time, I didn't start taking photos as a serious hobby until a few years ago. I do mostly nature & flower photography, and my baby is my Sigma 105mm EX DG macro lens - it hardly ever leaves my camera. I used to go out all the time: my usual 'haunts' are Bull Creek (I'll start at the Spicewood Springs side, hike down to the Lakewood dr side, then back; it's only about 3 miles total) and the Zilker Botanical Gardens; while I've ventured other places, those two seem to keep drawing me back :D Unfortunately, due to work, I don't get out as often as I used to :( |
