Hi guys, Just thought I'd check you out and joined.

I live in small town America, Port Angeles, WA. We refer to it as PA. It's on the Olympic Peninsula, about 70 miles west of Seattle. I have a small studio in our downtown area. My biggest market is HS Seniors. I do some weddings, not many these days, as I price myself higher than the rest in my area, love babies, families, etc. I've been an Arsty/Fartsy BW photographer for many years. Started learning portraiture from Monte Zucker & Kirk Volican. I keep taking classes and wanting to learn more. Personally I really don't know SQUAT but I keep putting things between these old ears of mine.
Everything I've been doing at my studio has been by the seat of my pants, but for some reason I'm doing quite well for myself.

We don't usually allow you yanks on here, but PA sounds kind of like just a very far northwestern suburb of Fort Worth.

Thanks Tom for the Welcome! I've never consider myself as a Yank, ;-) I am a Georgia boy at heart, born in Germany but spent many years in my youth in GA, still lots of family there and in Flordia. I have visited Texas a few times, Ft Hood (Killen) and Houston, plus a PPA Convention a few years back in San Antonia, love that River Walk.
Have not grown very fond of the PPA, am a member of pro4um.com and have been for many years and will continue to be a member there. It's the best money I spend on my business, barr none.

Welcome! I LOVE WA. All of my in-laws and my son and daughter-in-law live in WA and I visit as often as I can, in fact heading to Everett this summer for the birth of first grandchild! Please share images! B&W has always been my fav. BTW, my husband was born in Vancouver, WA and the first time I called him a yankee the fight was on! Apparently, it's not north of the Mason-Dixon line.
