Talking New to photography in Deer Park, TX - 08-03-2010, 08:35 AM

Good morning! I am a homeschool mom of 7. I only have the 4 younger kids at home now, ages 8, 10, 10, and 13. I have the kids doing lots of exciting classes and burned up 3 point and shoots. So, I got my first DSLR and trying to learn photography!
The kids have a serious interest in nature science, so we need to learn to photograph nature. Along with all the classes and activities they participate in. (missed holding alligators - darned point and shoot).
Other hobbies include herping (big time herper wanna be kids) and geocaching. Photography fits in nicely with these.
I'm reading up on photography and practicing as much as I can in the heat (whew!) Hope to catch some of the photo walks soon.

If you're referring to a new post or a reply to a post then scroll down a little bit after you start your post and under the section "Additional Options" you'll see a "Manage Attachments" button. Click on that and you'll see a bunch of "browse" buttons. For each one of those that you click you can search your machine for a photo to upload. After you've selected the photos you want, then click on the "upload" button on the right hand side. Then close that window with the button at the bottom and your photos will be attached to your post.
