I signed on here to find some info on a couple of antique 8mm cameras, but I've had a long-time interest in still photography. My two best cameras were a Minolta XD-11 and a Canon AE-1 Program. I still have them, the Minolta doesn't work any more, but I've moved into the digital world now, and use a Sony Cybershot DSC-H3.

I've worked in healthcare for the last 28 years, am a USAF veteran, and my hobbies include sportscars and garden tractors, woodworking, stained glass, and photography. The primary photographic interest is to document the other hobbies, both still and simple video. I guess my little roadster is my present passion, a 2000 Miata that I'm turning into a road rocket, little bit at a time.

I'm married 20 years, and have a great wife who allows me my hobby time, and two teen-age daughters who are both primo dancers, the oldest getting ready to finish HS this year and head off to college, where she plans to double major in dance and exercise science.

I hope to pick up some good info on improving my photographic knowledge and technique.

Health Care, eh? Welcome to TPF, the home of Camera Care, Photo Care, and some might say AbelCare. But I wouldn't, except just to tease him before I see him next week at IUSA!

Welcome from Frisco!
