Representin' Waco - 04-07-2011, 10:16 AM

Hey, everyone. I heard about this forum at the Houston Flash Bus Tour stop. I had to go to Houston because the Austin and Dallas stops were on weekdays and I work full time as a public school elementary teacher.

I started getting serious about photography last year and I've recently gotten more into off-camera lighting. Also, I'm kind of feeling out whether or not I'm interested in pursuing regular part-time paid work. I have my first paid job this weekend (a senior shoot). Hope I don't blow it!

I'm a mid-30's family man so it's hard to find practice time but I scrape together as much as I can.

Any other Wacoans here?

brad

Yeah, unfortunately I have checked the weather forecast. Tomorrow is supposed to be windy but we are shooting in the morning and either tonight or tomorrow night. I'm hoping that we can swing tonight if it's not raining as there might be some dramatic cloud cover and sunset colors.

The shoot went great. Here are some of the pics:
http://www.texasphotoforum.com/forum...aid-shoot.html

Only problem with the weather was it was WIND-Y!! It was blowing my softbox around big time and forget about the umbrellas. Actually I did manage to use the umbrellas for one shot during the night shoot but it's not represented here.
