Born in the same place (but 20 years latter), as Don McCullin the British war photojournalist, my earliest memories of “art” and “photography” are from my father. I recall seeing shadows ‘dancing’ over images on the baseboard of an enlarger in a darkroom and pictures emerging from nothing but those shadows and light as a young child in the early 1960’s. I went onto study visual art at college as part of the British DipAD (Diploma in Art and Design) but became disillusioned and have followed my own path since then.
Now I live in North Texas - it's a long story of cheating, divorce and remarriage

and have spent several years rediscovering my old Nikon film gear as well as newer DSLR systems and techniques. Now I am ready to ramp things up and get a little bit more serious about photography and 'art'.
So that's a quick introduction from me! Now you know!!!
