Hello new girl in the block! - 05-24-2011, 09:01 AM

I am a student at Texas Woman's University studying graphic design and photography, double major seeking my BFA. Just enjoying life and all thats in it. I shoot with many cameras. Name a few... Holga medium format, Twin Lens Reflex Yashica-D medium format, 35 mm 0lympus, nikon D-90.
Photography for me is an outlet in expression, I shoot things that trigger memories or my feelings at the time. I do shoot portrature as well, weddings, seniors, families and babies and any event.
I never limit myself, if I have an opportunity, I take it!

I hope to learn more from other photographers and maybe I can pass on info and knowledge to others who want to learn as well!
So I have 2 years down and prob 2 more to until graduation! I hope to return and get my masters! A little tidbit I forgot to add. Lol!

I am a Holga fan myself, and I am hoping they will hit the market with a new digital camera very soon.

I did a dream project this last semester with my holga. It was a series of 10 sliver gelatin prints on matt paper, I took a fine grit sandpaper and put lines in marks on the images then used prisma colors to color them and linseed oil to smooth out the colors. Fun fun camera!
