Hello from So Cal - 06-28-2011, 10:59 PM

Hi everyone. I was a previous registered user on the California Photo Forum. Got the email that it had been switched over to pixtus, so here I am.

I have lived in California all my life. I love to travel, camp, take photographs of anything moving or sitting still. I recently got a giggle in looking through pictures to print for my son's scrapbook and have noticed that I'm behind the camera so much that he may never remember what I look like by his scrap book. UGH!

Well anyways HI to everyone!

Welcome from the Texas half of the forum! Maybe you should explore your timer and get some self portraits for your son :)

I actually have some amazing pictures of him from baseball. I haven't done any recent portraits of him which is a good idea. Since he is rapidly growing and changing every time I look at him it seems. He'll be 15 in Feb. Time flies too fast...

Actually I had a picture of him as my avatar on the CPF but I can't recall how to get the avatar to change... any help there would be great! Feeling a bit lame at the moment.

It's under the User CP - under edit setting on the left is edit avatar. Just click on that and upload.

Thanks!!! Although it might be time for a new photo shoot! I was actually thinking of trashing my wedding dress. I'm pretty sure that none of my nieces would want to wear mine... sooo... trash session! LOL!

Hi welcome from the Dallas, Tx area. Had two daughters attend DLI 10 years apart. Used every excuse to visit them always wound up with them driving from Monterey to San Luis Obispo(sp) or Hearst Castle at San Simeon.

Too bad you live so far away from me. I'd love to shoot it.
I finally talked my wife into doing a TTD session.
Our daughter has no interest in it, and my wife's desire to hang onto it for sentimental reasons has faded.
Too many episodes of "Say Yes To The Dress" I think.
