Hi, New pixtus member here, Allen, aka PhotoTexas58. I've been a Amateur Photographer since 1985. My main interest have been Landscape and Architectural photography (both Visible and IR). New to digital for about 2 years now, so mainly have shot film with a Canon F1n camera. Bought a Canon 20D and a 50D since film was getting too expensive to process and print. I have recently had the 20D converted to IR 830nm by LifePixel, and found IR to be sooooo much easier now!!! Enough for now, hope to make new friends to share this addiction with here on pixtus. I totally whiffed the IR comment. Very cool. Hooray for more IR shooters. Thanks for the welcome everyone. Still learning about this site. Did not know about the Amazon store tho, I ordered a DSLR backpack directly thru Amazon yesterday, a Case Logic 206 that was there Deal of the Day (great price). Since I know now about Pixtus Amazon store, I'll order thru here for now on. I'll post some IR pics as soon as I figure out the posting requirements. |
