I had a little bit of trouble loading an avi though. I got the file size to 115k and it still wouldn't take. Suggestions ya'll?

if you're trying to upload a movie, you'll need to host it via youtube or vimeo, I dont recall pixtus allowing avi to be hosted. I could be wrong of course.

You can upload photos for sure.

There is a profile picture and an avatar, which are two separate pictures. Avatar is what shows in posts, profile picture is just for when people look at your actual profile. Avatars should update instantly.
