Just wanted to say, "Hey", and I hail from Houston. I'm the owner of a new Sony A55 that I got for my birthday, or rather signed my daughter's name to it, anyway. Been into photography for years, but have recently decided to upgrade from my modest Samsung Lumix. Generally, I like shooting architecture, night scenes, and landscapes. Still trying to learn the concepts of F-stops, and such. Currently reading, "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson and has been exceptionally helpful. BTW: I will occasionally type this on a phone, so pardon any moronic comments and I'll be damning autocorrect in advance. |

Oh no! Another Sony user!  Welcome to the forum, and don't worry, we have several Sony shooters on the forum (at least 4 in the Houston area that are active in meetups and photowalks). --------------------------- You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline.
