Welcome to the forum. I know there's at least one other active member out your way (also not a student).

Audrey, Thomas and I are all former Aggies, so I'm sure we all have our little places, but the campus is awesome for finding fun things to shoot. I've been meaning to go back and run around taking pictures (esp w/ the new MSC opening soon), so maybe we can meet up in the spring.

Parks like Lick Creek, most of Hwy6 can be picturesque. Hopefully there will be bluebonnets this spring and it'll be amazing! Downtown Bryan is also neat with all the old buildings. Check out First Fridays if you ever want to get away from Northgate.

I will be in BCS this afternoon and plan to go shoot my father-in-laws CL500 tomorrow evening. If you are in the mood let me know and we can hook up.

What genres do you enjoy shooting?

Gig em Aggies.

Man fill up your gas tank and drive. Night scape's can be awesome in the small country towns ... Navasota is just down the road.

I"m not sure if your into nature, country and rust, but it makes some great captures during the day.

Houston is 1 1/2 hours, and Austin is about 2 hours away and is great for big city captures.

I was thinking a 3.5 hour drive to the Regency Bridge should be considered.
